Watch four screens simultaneously, each showcasing a different perspective through literature & poetry, design, drones & spatial information, and film.

Explore themes of life and death, love, daily life, and the environment. Immerse yourself in their unique takes on womanhood and contemporary life, creating your own narrative by engaging with each screen.

The four Australian Chinese female artists—Echo Cai, Ni Ni, Zoey Zuo, and Tammy Yang—collaborate on their works using video as the medium to explore the same theme - an open-ended headline: "then, they never come back again".

Despite sharing the same passion, each artist is at a different stage of a woman's life: one is fresh out of university and seeking her place in the art world, another is a new mother searching for space for her creativity, the third is an independent woman successful in her career and relishing her solitary life, and the fourth is in her 50s, living intergenerationally with her 80-year-old mother, two children, and their partners while continuing her artistic pursuits.

Exploring the theme "Then, they never came back again" through the lens of various art forms, the perspectives of these women promise intriguing narrative possibilities.

Topics addressed in this installation artwork include women, love, environment, post-pandemic life, contemporary cultures, and nature.
